I finally crossed the midway point.  Only five days late...which comes out to being well a lot of words behind.  I calculated that my new Required Words Per Day score is 2484.3.  So...We will see what happens.  It is a little frustrating to be behind as I was actually rather confident I would finish last weekend, but this week has been very slow, or perhaps nonexistent until today.  I have at least caught up to the scene I wrote in my notebook so now I will have to type it in.  I will try to do that tonight also to both inflate my score for an emotional boost and to find out just how far is really left.
